About the Brewery
Tōa Shuzo began brewing sake in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, in 1625. In 1941, the company relocated its headquarters to Hanyū City, Saitama Prefecture, where it remains today.
Although it became an affiliate of King Brewing in 2004, its history of sake brewing spans over 300 years.
During this time, the world around us has changed significantly and will continue to do so.
To weather these storms and continue making history in the future, we must remain sensitive to change and respond with agility.
“We do not seek or create excuses for why we cannot succeed. We seek ways to succeed and take action.”
This is our slogan.
We strive to be a company cherished by our local community, our customers, and our business partners. Each of us is committed to approaching our work with integrity, finding fulfillment in what we do, and moving forward with determination every day.
While honoring the legacy of our history, we remain humble and dedicated to delivering safe and reliable products. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
