The Kawagoe City Industry and Tourism Center "Koedo Kurazato," which preserves the history and culture of Kawagoe for future generations, is a community facility renovated from the former Kagamiyama Sake Brewery building, retaining the atmosphere of the past.By revitalizing sake breweries built during the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras, the facility has created four distinct spaces—the Souvenir Shop (Meiji Brewery), the Staff Dining Hall (Taisho Brewery), the Sake Tasting Room (Showa Brewery), and the Gathering Hall (Exhibition Brewery)—each offering its own unique charm.Opened in October 2010, it serves as a place where residents and tourists can gather and relax while enjoying Kawagoe’s local specialties, regional sake, and food culture. The name “Koedo Kurazato” embodies the desire for the facility to be a “hometown”-like place where people can gather and find peace of mind, reflecting the atmosphere of Kawagoe’s streets, which are rich in Edo-period charm.

Today, Sunday, April 12th, was a cloudless, beautiful day! ☀️ (Or so it seemed!)

We sold our “Retro Fresh Pudding Donuts” in the outdoor plaza.
Thanks to you all, we sold out by early afternoon!
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by.
“They were so good, I came back to buy more!”
“I came back to take some home for my daughter too!”
Hearing comments like these and seeing everyone’s smiles as they enjoyed the donuts in the plaza filled our entire staff with gratitude.

We’re actually quite proud of these donuts.
Inside, you’ll find a rich “pudding cream” made by combining kuracafe’s most popular “homemade sweet potato pudding” with our special custard.

And the fresh dough that forms the base is also something we’re proud of—we make it from scratch ourselves, starting with the flour blend.

This unique “crispy yet chewy” texture is definitely something only kuracafe can offer.

We believe this flavor is only possible because we make each one by hand with love.

✨Kurari Snack Station Report✨

On April 15, we held the 59th Kurari Snack Station (a support activity for children’s food pantries).

We received a large number of donations once again, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the companies that support us on a daily basis.
Companies have donated items that go beyond those that might otherwise become food waste, all with the sincere wish to “deliver them to those in need.”

The beneficiaries of this initiative are two organizations: “Kawagoe Children’s Support Pantry” and “Team Hidamari.”
We have received feedback such as, “It is a great help to be able to receive donated goods from many companies all at once.”

Currently, there are 44 participating companies.
This time, we received cooperation from the following seven companies (titles omitted, listed in no particular order).

Sankyo Mokko Co., Ltd.
NTT East Saitama West Branch
