About the Brewery
Founded in 1749. With over 260 years of history, "Chichibu Nishiki" is a renowned sake nurtured in the deep mountains of the Chichibu region. Blessed with the high-quality water of the Arakawa River system, which originates from Mount Kobushi—spanning Saitama, Yamanashi, and Nagano prefectures—and using high-quality sake rice cultivated in the crisp air and climate characterized by extreme temperature fluctuations, we have, over many years, nurtured a sake unique to this region within a natural environment that possesses all the essential conditions for crafting delicious sake.
While preserving traditional flavors and brewing methods, the new flavors crafted by today’s master brewers have earned high acclaim, including winning the Gold Prize at the National New Sake Competition for seven consecutive years. A local premium sake born in Chichibu and cherished by the people of Chichibu. Discover the unique character of this regional sake and enjoy a taste that will surprise and delight you.
